Why I like Hootsuite for managing Twitter
Keeping up with social media tools can be a challenge, and I’m always looking for a way to simplify. I’ve tried a few different Twitter tools, like Tweetdeck, Seesmic, and the Tweetie and Echophone apps for the iphone. I just started using Hootsuite a few weeks ago, both the iphone app and the web version. Here’s why I recommend it.
Allows you to manage multiple Twitter account
You can schedule tweets in advance
You can set it up to send tweets when you make a blog post
You can update your status and profile on Facebook and LinkedIn
Use the Hootlet feature in your web browser to tweet a URL
Track stats and clicks
Great interface that you can customize
It’s web based
It’s free for the web version, and $1.99 for the iphone app
